Well into the season now, and two Club Championships events have already been decided. The Championship ‘10’, on 4 June, was won by James Cullen (24.43) with Claire Jessop (23.09 (6.30)) taking the Handicap Award. The ‘25’ on 11 June involved two laps of the Triangle course. The champion was Ged Millward in 1.00.29. Chris Dooley (59.27 (14.40)) won the handicap. The next championship event is the ‘30’ on 25 June (Huby).
The Triangle events are very well supported each Thursday night. The current point’s leader is John Buddle with 24 points. If you don’t already receive a regular email on the ‘Triangle’ or would like more information, contact the organiser, Sheldon Howcroft on sheldon.howcroft@talk21.com
The club has been represented in a number of open events. Recently, at the National VTTA ‘50’ Championship on the T502/2 we fielded seven riders and took the National Team award on standard. The three ‘counters’ were Mike Shacklock (+43.21), Chris Yates (+27.52) and Peter Yates (+25.41).
Only one member (second claim!) has stepped forward, so far, to help marshal the RTTC National ‘100’. It takes place on 12 July and is being run by the Yorkshire Cycling Federation (Dalton Village Hall HQ).
Saturday: Team Swift ‘25′ V232 Dishforth-Knayton course
Strong headwind on return leg and some showers (lots of DNS/DNF’s!)
Course V243R (Boroughbridge-Knayton ret.)
Weather: little wind (for a change), overcast and cool.
Check out the TT page to dowload the latest results of the latest Time Trials!.
We have just had the following message and would like to pass it on. Addresses have been removed due to security issues but names and contact emails have been left in. These are not run or are affiliated with the Otley Cycle Club, we are just passing the message on.

If you can help, please let Mike Shacklock know on 01423 880479 or mikeshacklock@hotmail.co.uk.
